Visual Inspector – 12‑month contract in Swindon

About the role

We are seeking detail‑oriented Visual Inspectors to join a 12‑month production contract at a pharmaceutical facility in Swindon. The role involves inspecting filled vials in controlled booths to ensure they meet quality standards before moving to the next production stage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual visual inspections of filled vials in dedicated inspection booths.
• Identify and separate defective units, such as those with particulate matter, cosmetic defects, cracks, chips, or fill‑volume issues.
• Record inspection results accurately in line with Good Documentation Practices.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Participate in routine vision checks and qualification assessments.

Required profile

• GCSE‑level Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
• Pass a visual acuity test (corrective lenses permitted).
• High concentration, focus and consistency during repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and self‑motivation.

Required skills

• Manual visual inspection of pharmaceutical products.
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.

What we offer

• £13.86 per hour plus a 22 % shift allowance.
• Full‑time schedule (37.5 hours/week) with rotating shifts.
• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with potential for extension.
