Production Operative

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join a leading manufacturer on the outskirts of Tonbridge. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and offers a clear path from a temporary assignment to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production lines to transform raw materials into bulk products.
• Fill containers, label, assemble and pack finished goods for dispatch.
• Carry out quality checks and basic testing of products.
• Assist with periodic stock checks and annual stock‑take.
• Support other production staff and deputise when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment in line with health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform regular heavy lifting.
• Good basic maths and the ability to keep clear, legible records.
• Organised, efficient and able to work both as part of a team and independently.
