Account Manager – North-East England & South-East Scotland

About the role

We are expanding our sales team to support a pipeline of new veterinary pharmaceutical launches. The Account Manager will cover North‑East England and South‑East Scotland, acting as the primary contact for companion‑animal veterinary customers and driving growth of existing and new products.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, forecast and develop strategic plans to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Own all activities within the assigned territory, planning calls and resources to achieve required call rates.
• Identify customer needs, propose joint commitment plans and accelerate new product launches.
• Maintain strong internal relationships to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Build long‑term, profitable relationships with veterinary practice personnel.
• Manage CRM data, KPI reporting and ensure accurate customer record maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven sales background in animal health, human health or B2B environments.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to ask for commitments and ask direct questions.
• Excellent communication and networking skills to build rapid rapport.
• Confident presenter and effective team player.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
