About the role
Pasta Evangelists is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager at its Manchester Airport location. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, high‑quality customer service, and profitable sales in a fast‑paced airport environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, inventory management and health‑and‑safety compliance.
- Coordinate with airport authorities to resolve logistical issues.
- Implement efficiency improvements and streamline workflows.
- Recruit, train, schedule and supervise stall staff.
- Provide coaching, resolve customer complaints and monitor feedback.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming store environment.
- Control inventory levels, minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Manage airside pass responsibilities and monitor compliance.
Required profile
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in food & beverage, preferably in an airport setting.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
- Strong leadership, organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive, resourceful and able to stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work early‑morning shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
