About the role

The Copthorne Manchester Hotel is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead its Front of House team. You will shape the F&B strategy, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales‑driven strategy for the Food & Beverage department.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of restaurants, bars and other F&B outlets.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, maintaining food quality and consistency.
• Analyse guest trends and competitive set to recommend product or service adjustments.
• Maintain a visible presence during operating hours, engaging with guests and staff.
• Lead by example with a hands‑on approach, fostering a positive team culture.
• Manage multi‑departmental budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a 4‑star hotel environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and networking abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to evaluate market changes and adapt operational plans accordingly.
