Associate Vice President of Sales, Wealth Management (French or German Speaker)
cfra · London
Job description
About the role
CFRA is seeking an Associate Vice President of Sales to expand its footprint across wealth‑management markets in Europe and Asia. The role is primarily remote, with up to two days a week of in‑person meetings in Central London, and carries a quota‑bearing focus on new‑business acquisition.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle – prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing new business with wealth‑management firms and private banks.
- Build and manage a pipeline through cold‑calling, networking and proactive outreach across Europe and Asia.
- Tailor CFRA’s research and data solutions to client needs by developing deep product knowledge.
- Represent CFRA at industry events, conferences and client meetings.
- Collaborate with Research, Account Management and Client Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long‑term retention.
- Partner with Business Development Representatives to set target accounts, shape campaign strategy and maximise coverage.
- Provide market feedback on competitive positioning, pricing and product gaps.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of sales experience in financial services, preferably selling research, data or analytics to wealth‑management, private banking or financial‑advisor audiences.
- Proven track record of winning new logos rather than expanding existing accounts.
- Strong networker capable of building a book of business from scratch.
- Deep understanding of investment research, equity markets and how wealth managers use third‑party research.
- Consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior decision‑makers.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluency in French and/or German.
What we offer
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Performance bonus and pension scheme.
- Health, dental and vision insurance.
- Company‑paid life and disability insurance.
- Sick days, paid time off and holiday pay.
- Small, collaborative team where impact is visible.
