Bar Supervisor – Luxury Hotel Bar

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Bar Supervisor to join our award‑winning team at Grantley Hall, a five‑star luxury hotel in the North Yorkshire countryside. You will lead the bar team, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable guest experience in a historic, high‑end setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support and motivate the bar team to meet and exceed service standards.
• Deliver consistently high‑quality service to guests and resolve any food/drink related complaints.
• Place orders, manage stock levels and achieve gross profit margins.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar environment and uphold health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and driven to improve standards.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive, willing to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Proficient knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits and wine.
• Experience in preparing cocktail ingredients.
