About the role
Join Focus Group, a fast‑growing UK tech scale‑up, as a Business Development Manager. You will own a protected territory, manage the full sales cycle and sell a complete technology stack—including Telecoms, IT, Cyber Security and Mobile solutions—to SME and mid‑market customers.
Key responsibilities
- Research and prospect new accounts through cold calling, LinkedIn and email outreach.
- Conduct discovery calls and face‑to‑face meetings to present tailored, solution‑based proposals.
- Navigate complex B2B buying cycles, handle objections and close deals that deliver measurable business value.
- Maintain and grow your pipeline autonomously, and later collaborate with Business Development Executives for qualified appointments.
Required profile
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in solution‑based or complex selling.
- Hunter mentality – motivated by cold outreach and building accounts from scratch.
- Resilient, self‑driven and able to take full ownership of results.
- Coachable, collaborative and growth‑mindset oriented; telecom, IT or cyber‑security background is a plus.

What we offer
- Uncapped commission structure – OTE £65‑80k in Year 1, £80‑100k in Years 2‑3.
- Base salary £30‑40k plus £400/month car allowance.
- Monthly accelerators and annual incentive trips (e.g., Ibiza, Miami).
- Hybrid working – 2 days remote after probation.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
