Buyer – Womenswear (Denim)

About the role

We are looking for a Buyer to lead the Womenswear Denim category. You will shape the assortment, drive product development and ensure commercial success by balancing customer needs, brand aesthetics and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute a customer‑centric buying strategy for the womenswear denim category, aligning with brand direction and market trends.
• Lead end‑to‑end product and component development, overseeing samples, colours, materials and ensuring quality, sustainability and profitability.
• Analyse purchase targets, sales performance and customer insights to make data‑driven assortment decisions and drive commercial results.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, pattern, fabric, production, buying controllers, PO and supply‑chain teams to secure accurate component bookings and on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Buyer with strong denim expertise, preferably in luxury or high‑quality environments.
• Deep understanding of customer needs, behaviour and fashion trends, and ability to translate insights into commercially viable assortments.
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen, comfortable analysing sales, margins and purchase targets.
• Product‑development mindset and experience working closely with an in‑house design team.
