Chef de Partie – Keswick Theatre Café

About the role

We are seeking an inspirational Chef de Partie to join our bustling café on the shores of Derwent Water. You will help deliver exceptional dining experiences across our theatre café, bar, pop‑ups and hospitality services, operating seven days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑standard dishes across all kitchen stations as directed by senior chefs.
• Support extra functions and events, ensuring consistent quality for all dining areas.
• Manage client dining, staff restaurant, hospitality and conference food services when required.
• Assist in training junior staff and maintain smooth daily operations.
• Conduct hygiene, personal hygiene and waste‑control checks.
• Uphold health, safety and legal requirements, including fire regulations and licensing.

Required profile

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Capable of working under pressure while maintaining excellent standards.
• Experience in a 5‑star hotel or Michelin‑starred restaurant is desirable.
• Strong team player with attention to detail and good communication skills.
