Class 2 Skip Driver – Temp to Perm

About the role
We are recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV drivers for a waste‑management company. The position starts as a 12‑week temp‑to‑perm role, offering full training and the chance to secure a permanent contract.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver, collect and exchange skips
- Operate Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles
- Complete daily vehicle checks and record deliveries using a PDA
- Start at 06:45 am, Monday‑Friday, approx 50 hours per week
Required profile
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Own transport to travel to and from work
- Good understanding of health & safety and drivers’ hours regulations
Required skills
- Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles
- Using a PDA for delivery recording
- Handling chains for load securing
