About the role
The Import and Customs Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the import customs department, ensuring compliance while supporting the freight forwarding side of the business. Reporting to the Director, you will create a relaxed yet professional environment for your team.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor staff, handling issues and maintaining high customer service standards.
- Develop and coach team members, acting as the go‑to person for operational matters.
- Work hands‑on during busy periods, guiding the team through peak workloads.
- Ensure customs compliance and oversee import forwarding processes.
Required profile
- Previous freight forwarding experience.
- Supervisory or people‑management experience.
- Knowledge of customs procedures.
- Good IT knowledge.
