Cloud and Infrastructure Administrator (Hybrid, Northumberland)

About the role

The Cloud and Infrastructure Administrator will report to the Cloud and Infrastructure Manager and provide customer‑focused maintenance and support across a large‑scale environment. The role ensures incidents are resolved within SLA targets, maintains system availability and offers technical guidance for trust projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage call workflows to consistently meet SLA targets.
• Plan, coordinate and execute server upgrades and new server installations with third‑party suppliers.
• Support the implementation of new network links and manage LAN/WAN connectivity across multiple sites.
• Maintain physical servers, perform patch management using Azure Update Manager and Azure ARC, and monitor networks with tools such as LogicMonitor or SolarWinds.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with Trust Security Policy, ISO 27001 and KPI benchmarks.
• Assist procurement activities to verify suitability of new systems.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Microsoft certification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft servers in large‑scale environments.
• Strong background in virtualization, PowerShell automation and Linux administration.
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and ISO 27001 requirements.
