Commercial Financial Controller

About the role

The Commercial Financial Controller will lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance for a leading FMCG organisation. This permanent position offers the chance to influence commercial performance through rigorous analysis and partnership with senior teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support sales, marketing and operations decisions.
• Partner with senior commercial teams to drive profitability, pricing, mix and promotion performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that track business performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Manage and optimise financial reporting systems.
• Lead cost‑saving initiatives and present results to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial finance, preferably within the consumer sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of driving financial performance and business growth.
