Commercial Lead – French & Dutch Speaking

About the role
Via is looking for a Commercial Lead who will be the primary face of the company for partners in France and the Benelux region. You will own the end‑to‑end commercial journey, from winning new city and operator contracts to expanding and renewing existing relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, negotiate and close partnerships with city governments, transport authorities and private operators.
- Manage the full account lifecycle after signing, including renewals, upsell, cross‑sell and service expansion.
- Act as the trusted advisor for executive city and agency leaders, translating their needs into concrete service improvements.
- Analyse service performance data to inform strategic decisions that improve ridership, efficiency and sustainability.
- Develop data‑driven business cases that demonstrate Via’s impact on public transit.
- Lead high‑stakes negotiations and represent Via at conferences, industry events and thought‑leadership forums.
Required profile
- 6+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development or strategy, preferably in enterprise, government or infrastructure.
- Proven track record of winning and growing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
- Strong quantitative and analytical mindset; comfortable working with large datasets.
- Excellent storytelling ability to turn data, policy and customer needs into compelling commercial narratives.
- Fluent in French and Dutch, with strong English communication skills.
