About the role
We are looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer to lead the communications activity for the Dormant Assets NI programme. You will raise awareness of the funding, build relationships with community organisations and sector networks, and share learning and impact across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver communications plans for Dormant Assets NI, including funding announcements and programme milestones.
- Produce engaging content for web, social media, newsletters and specialist media.
- Build and maintain relationships with sector bodies, networks and specialist media.
- Collaborate with policy, engagement and customer‑engagement teams to amplify the programme’s reach.
- Plan and support grant‑holder and learning events, both in‑person and virtual.
- Work with the Fund’s media team to lead press releases and media handling.
Required profile
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience in creating content for a variety of channels.
- Passion for community organisations and the voluntary sector.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with external partners.
