Corporate Tax Senior Manager / Director

About the role

This senior, client‑facing position is with a leading advisory firm operating across the West Midlands, South West and Manchester. You will work directly with partners to deliver high‑quality corporate tax advice to a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, large corporates and international groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax advisory engagements covering group restructures, demergers, international expansion and financing structures.
• Provide due diligence, transaction support and transfer‑pricing advice on cross‑border projects.
• Manage complex corporate tax compliance portfolios and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and nurture long‑term client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.
• Own client delivery, timelines and financial performance while supporting business‑development initiatives.
• Collaborate with audit, corporate finance and wider tax teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong corporate tax experience in both advisory and compliance.
• Proven track record of managing complex client portfolios and driving business development.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
