Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Banbury & Bicester)

About the role

Join Santander’s Banbury & Bicester Twinned Site Branch as a Customer Experience Advisor. Working 35 hours per week on a rotating schedule, you will be the friendly face and voice of the bank, helping customers with everyday banking needs and protecting them from fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in the branch or over the phone.
• Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing.
• Answer customer calls routed to the contact centre.
• Build relationships, identify solutions and recommend appropriate products.
• Develop knowledge of Santander’s services and products to support customers effectively.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the customer experience.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work a rota covering Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 6 pm.
• Strong listening and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable handling cash transactions, assisting with banking technology and addressing fraud concerns.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, multi‑skilled branch environment.
