Customer Service Agent – Part Time

About the role

Swissport is seeking a part‑time Customer Service Agent to join its team at Gatwick Airport. You will be the first point of contact for passengers, helping them navigate check‑in, baggage and boarding while ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet passengers and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their journey.
• Assist with check‑in procedures, luggage handling, and boarding processes.
• Answer inquiries and provide accurate information on flight schedules, baggage policies and related details.
• Ensure compliance with airline and airport regulations, including security and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain efficient operations.
• Resolve passenger concerns and complaints promptly and empathetically.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation and reporting.
• Apply environmental processes and procedures in line with the QHSE Manual.

Required profile

• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality or a related field is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while remaining composed under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to issues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling passenger information and documentation.
