About the role

Freightliner, the UK’s leading maritime intermodal logistics and heavy‑haul rail freight operator, is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Operator to support its nationwide network of terminals and rail services. The role involves working across both intermodal container movements and heavy‑haul rail freight operations, ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment used for moving containers and heavy‑haul freight across the rail network.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo at inland terminals and rail yards.
• Support the coordination of intermodal and heavy‑haul services to maintain schedule reliability.
• Follow health, safety and operational procedures at all times.
