Financial Controller – Luxury Retail (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to lead a talented finance team within a fast‑growing luxury retail brand. This hybrid role offers real visibility and the chance to influence strategic decisions across UK and US operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team of four professionals.
• Own month‑end, year‑end, management reporting and audit processes.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance across UK and US entities.
• Drive process improvements, automation and ERP enhancements.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, consolidations, tax and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• 4–5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise.
• Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
• Experience in retail, luxury, founder‑led or PE‑backed businesses is a plus.
