Group Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing private‑equity backed data services firm in central London, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to act as the CFO’s right‑hand partner. The role will be pivotal in building the finance infrastructure required for a planned three‑fold growth over the next three years and preparing the business for a future exit.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CFO in designing and implementing finance processes, systems, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Develop and lead a finance team capable of scaling with rapid business expansion.
• Leverage technology to drive efficiency, automation and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Ensure the organisation is ‘exit ready’ by establishing robust financial governance.
• Collaborate with business units to provide accurate financial insight for strategic planning.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a small‑to‑medium, high‑growth environment.
• Track record of implementing or improving finance processes, systems, controls and reporting.
• Experience using technology to enhance finance efficiency and automation.
• Exposure to the technology sector is preferred.
