Financial Controller – Private Equity Professional Services

About the role

The company, a market‑leading private‑equity backed professional services group, is seeking a technically strong Financial Controller to join its Group Finance function. Based in London, the role is permanent and hybrid, reporting to the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group consolidation process across multiple domestic and international entities.
• Drive the professionalisation and automation of consolidation and reporting cycles.
• Support the selection, implementation and optimisation of consolidation and financial planning platforms such as Lucanet and Anaplan.
• Manage and enhance monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting cycles.
• Lead the delivery of statutory accounts and ensure IFRS‑compliant financial reporting.
• Oversee audit management and statutory reporting responsibilities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance leader with extensive experience in consolidation, statutory reporting and IFRS compliance.
• Proven track record in a high‑growth, private‑equity environment.
• Strong analytical and change‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and private‑equity stakeholders.

Required skills

• Consolidation platforms: Lucanet, Anaplan.
• IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting.
• Audit management.
• Advanced Excel for financial analysis.

What we offer

• Salary £110,000‑£130,000 plus bonus.
