FP&A Manager – Gross Margin & Operations

About the role

As the FP&A Manager for Gross Margin & Operations, you will act as the primary finance business partner for the Operations and Supply Chain teams. You will own the full financial lifecycle of products—from standard costing and development through production, logistics and margin analysis—providing data‑driven insights to improve global supply‑chain efficiency and protect profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial planning for Global Operations, delivering variance analysis of production costs, freight and departmental expenses.
• Maintain and revalue global product cost standards, analyse cost variances and forecast gross‑margin impacts.
• Oversee inventory financial health, conduct quarterly excess‑and‑obsolete risk analysis and manage related provisions.
• Serve as finance lead in the Sales & Operations Planning process, aligning demand, supply‑chain capacity and financial targets.
• Prepare executive‑level financial presentations for senior leadership and ad‑hoc strategic requests.
• Determine costs for new product introductions and evaluate profitability against brand strategy.
• Provide cross‑channel profitability insights across customers, categories and commercial lines.
• Build and refine ROI models for supply‑chain automation, 3PL shifts and other initiatives.
• Manage month‑end close for Operations & Inventory accounts, ensuring accurate journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate cash‑flow planning with Accounting and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business; Master’s, MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 2 years focused on Operations, Supply Chain or Gross Margin finance.
• Background in consumer‑goods, beauty, retail or fashion environments.
