Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a driven Full-Stack Engineer to join Alma’s tech team. You will own the frontend architecture, building scalable design systems from scratch while contributing across the full stack to deliver secure, high-impact software for public-sector and charitable clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Django and React.
• Build responsive, reusable component libraries and design systems based on atomic design principles.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with data scientists, policy experts and external partners such as government agencies, the World Bank and UNICEF.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment and DevOps improvements.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience building full-stack web applications.
• Passion for clean code, software craftsmanship and scalable architecture.
• Interest in creating technology that delivers social impact.
