Garden Centre Cook

About the role

Join the on‑site restaurant team at Hillier Garden Centre in Sunningdale as a Cook. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes – from hearty breakfasts to light lunches and snacks – for visitors enjoying the garden centre experience. The role is full‑time, permanent and works on a daytime rota.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering of kitchen supplies.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Passionate about cooking and delivering great customer experiences.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work on a daytime rota.
• Right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a kitchen.
