Global Account Manager – Institutional Division (Remote)

About the role
Ecolab is seeking a senior sales leader to drive growth across its Institutional Division. Working remotely, you will own the full sales cycle, build trusted relationships with global customers, and deliver innovative cleaning, safety and sustainability solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while meeting or exceeding net new sales targets.
- Lead complex negotiations, contract renewals, pricing and product‑mix decisions.
- Coordinate on‑site product trials and application support to penetrate existing and new accounts.
- Develop and execute customer‑specific strategies for large, multinational accounts.
- Collaborate with field sales, distribution, finance, marketing and other support functions.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, quarterly/annual plans and regular progress reporting.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and share market insights with internal teams.
- Manage travel expenses within budget and act as a brand ambassador for Ecolab’s sustainability initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience in a direct sales or service management role.
- University degree in a business‑related discipline.
- Proven track record of retaining and growing corporate accounts across multiple channels.
- Strong ability to build relationships with senior decision‑makers in large organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication and entrepreneurial mindset.
