Global Process Owner (Payroll & Compliance)

About the role

As the Global Process Owner for Payroll & Compliance at AVEVA, you will design, govern, and continuously improve payroll processes across all regions. You will ensure that payroll operations are compliant, efficient, and aligned with business objectives while driving standardisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global payroll process framework, including policies, standards and controls.
• Develop and execute a transformation roadmap covering automation, vendor optimisation and scalability.
• Monitor compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations and internal controls, partnering with audit and risk teams.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost payroll accuracy, timeliness and employee experience.
• Establish and track global KPIs and SLAs, balancing standardisation with necessary local flexibility.
• Collaborate with regional payroll teams, People Technology, Finance and external vendors, acting as escalation point for complex issues.
• Partner with IT to optimise payroll systems, evaluate new technologies and lead system upgrades and global roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in global payroll operations and process ownership.
• Strong understanding of international payroll regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making experience.
• Excellent communication and change‑management skills.
