HR Coordinator – Aberdeen

About the role

Odfjell Technology is seeking an HR Coordinator to join its Aberdeen office. You will provide day‑to‑day HR advice, support recruitment and onboarding, and ensure accurate personnel records for both on‑shore and offshore staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on daily matters.
• Handle employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and liaise with recruitment agencies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
• Record personnel movements, conduct spot audits, and manage offshore personnel scheduling.
• Arrange travel and accommodation as required.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Perform general HR administration and participate in an on‑call rota for personnel issues.
• Contribute to the emergency response next‑of‑kin team and other duties as directed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR role.
• Working knowledge of UK employment law.
• CIPD qualification preferred but not essential.
• Experience dealing with external clients and suppliers.
• Ability to manage a diverse workload, exercise independent judgement and maintain strict confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HR systems and databases.
