Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

As an experienced Human Resources Business Partner at HydraForce, you will act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees, handling both operational and strategic HR matters within a leading hydraulic motion‑control manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day guidance on HR and labour‑law issues, ensuring compliance with legal and internal standards.
• Proactively manage employee‑relations cases from identification through investigation to resolution.
• Partner with business leaders on organisation design and redesign to drive performance.
• Implement and continuously improve HR processes and diversity initiatives.
• Analyse HR data, identify trends, and present actionable insights to stakeholders on a weekly basis.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention.
• Support reward, succession planning, restructuring and leadership development activities.
• Coach line managers on employee‑relations matters and conduct exit interviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar senior HR role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with business unit managers.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data‑driven approach to problem solving.
• Experience in organisation design, talent management and employee‑relations.
