About the role
Stantec is expanding its regulated water business in Scotland and is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for the sector. This hybrid role (three days in the office) will work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to attract top talent across engineering, construction and professional services.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Design and execute direct sourcing campaigns and collaborate with the sourcing team to build talent pipelines.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint.
- Maintain and grow talent communities for future water‑sector requirements.
- Provide market insights and best‑practice advice to support high‑volume hiring.
Required profile
- Resilient recruitment professional comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Experience in both in‑house and agency recruitment, preferably within engineering, construction or professional services.
- Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
- Detail‑oriented, responsive and passionate about securing top talent.
