Junior Facultative Cross-Class Broker Technician

About the role

We are partnering with a specialist Lloyd's broker to recruit a Junior Facultative Cross-Class Broker Technician for their reinsurance team in London. This hybrid role offers a chance to develop technical knowledge in facultative reinsurance and work across a variety of specialty classes.

Key responsibilities

• Support brokers with the preparation and processing of facultative placements.
• Assist with slips, endorsements and other market documentation.
• Process and maintain accurate policy and placement information.
• Liaise with brokers, clients and underwriters where required.
• Support the team with renewals and new business activities.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and completed within required timescales.
• Develop knowledge of facultative reinsurance and the wider Lloyd's market.

Required profile

• Around 6 months’ experience within the insurance industry.
• Interest in reinsurance, particularly facultative.
• Some exposure to technical, broking or processing activities.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist London market environment.
