Junior Finance Manager – Swindon

About the role

Join SFC Energy’s UK team in Swindon as a Junior Finance Manager. You will ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial processes, supporting operational efficiency and compliance across the company’s hybrid energy manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare timely monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, variance reporting, and data analysis for decision‑making.
• Coordinate tax return preparation and manage external audit processes.
• Develop and document accounting policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities and ensure adherence to financial regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar finance or accounting role, ideally within manufacturing, auditing, or advisory firms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Eagerness to grow and take on additional responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as proAlpha or SAP S/4HANA.
