Litigation Lawyer – Regulatory Matters (6‑month contract)

About the role

Our client, a government regulator, is seeking a Litigation Lawyer on an initial six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work on high‑profile regulatory matters, handling complex litigation and overseeing work instructed to panel firms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead complex regulatory litigation cases.
• Conduct judicial review proceedings and provide strategic advice.
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by external panel firms.
• Participate in inquests where required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Significant experience in litigation, preferably with judicial review exposure.
• Inquest experience is highly valued.
• Willingness to work from the London office at least two days per week.
• Ability to adapt to a six‑month contract with potential extension or permanent conversion.
