Logistics Operator – 6‑Month Contract in London

About the role

This 6‑month contract position supports a world‑renowned rolling‑stock manufacturer at its Old Oak Common depot. You will be responsible for receiving, controlling and delivering materials across the site, ensuring smooth operations for both internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Issue material to internal and external customers, including picking, packing and delivering to production lines.
• Top‑up line‑side material locations and manage off‑loading using correct manual‑handling techniques.
• Check quality and quantity of deliveries against documentation and process any delivery issues through the NCR system.
• Conduct planned and ad‑hoc stock audits, transact material between locations, and perform safety audits of racking and shelving.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Forklift truck experience (counterbalance and bendi) and a current UK driving licence.
• Self‑motivated with basic PC skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) and good English communication.
• Ability to pass a drugs and alcohol test prior to start.
