M&A Associate Director – Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Associate Director with a deep focus on the healthcare sector. Based in London, you will work on the origination and execution of mid‑market advisory mandates, guiding clients through strategic reviews to successful deal completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&A projects, acting as a senior point of contact for clients, with support from a Director or Partner.
• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and oversee the full deal cycle, from origination to financial close.
• Prepare transaction documentation, including pitch materials, client proposals, and complex financial models.
• Direct and coordinate internal teams, external advisers, and support staff.
• Supervise and review detailed financial analysis and modelling produced by the team.
• Develop new market relationships and drive business development activities.
• Monitor project budgets, billing, and reporting to ensure profitability.

Required profile

• Strong academic background (ACA, CFA, MBA or equivalent).
• Significant M&A advisory experience in investment banking, Big Four, private equity, boutique advisory, or corporate business development.
• Proven track record of executing healthcare‑focused transactions across the full deal cycle.
• Experience advising both private and public sector clients, including option appraisals and value‑for‑money analyses.
