Associate Banker – Funds & Asset Management Coverage

About the role

The Associate Banker will support Relationship Directors in the International Corporate Banking division, focusing on the Funds and Asset Management sector. The role involves deepening client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Directors in managing and developing client relationships across the Funds and Asset Management sector.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and increase wallet share.
• Support onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth experience.
• Collaborate with internal product, risk, operations, and support teams.
• Maintain high standards of governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Experience or knowledge of corporate banking.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
• Excellent organisational ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Understanding of credit principles and client risk assessment.
