About the role
Portico is looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist to join the Manchester office of a global consultancy firm. Working 20 hours a week, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front‑of‑house experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors, manage sign‑in procedures and issue visitor badges.
- Answer and route telephone calls, handling enquiries with a professional demeanor.
- Maintain and organise meeting rooms, including booking, set‑up and hospitality support.
- Provide general office support such as mail handling, supply replenishment and basic administrative tasks.
- Identify opportunities to improve reception services and contribute ideas for added value.
Required profile
- Positive attitude with strong communication and organisational abilities.
- High level of personal presentation and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
- Customer‑focused approach with experience delivering high‑standard service.
