Part‑time Sales Assistant – Retail Role

About the role

Join Savers as a Sales Assistant in Rugeley, working flexible part‑time hours in a fast‑moving retail environment. You will be the friendly face of the store, helping customers find great deals and ensuring the shop looks inviting.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service.
• Maintain store standards, keeping shelves tidy and displays attractive.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Stock merchandise, replenish shelves and manage inventory as needed.
• Promote promotions and seasonal offers to maximise sales.
• Engage with the local community and support store events.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for retail.
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues.
• Flexible availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work at least 8 hours per week, with potential for more.

Required skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic cash handling and POS system operation.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
