Sales Host – Gym Membership & Customer Experience

About the role

Everlast Gyms is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Host to join our team on a part‑time basis (20 hours per week). You will be the first point of contact for prospects, members and guests, turning every interaction into a sales and retention opportunity while promoting a vibrant fitness community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional experience to all visitors, using each contact to drive membership sales, renewals, upgrades and secondary spend (food & beverage, retail, fitness products).
• Convert enquiries into memberships through confident objection handling, needs‑based selling and diligent follow‑up.
• Conduct personalised gym tours aligned with individual goals and upsell relevant services.
• Maintain and exceed individual and club KPIs for sales and retention.
• Act as a key holder when required, ensuring smooth opening, closing and shift coverage.
• Learn and operate the club’s membership software and related systems.
• Promote fitness challenges, class concepts and weekly initiatives to boost engagement.
• Support operational excellence by upholding high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and gym floor presentation.
• Assist the Head Coach with gym resets and ad‑hoc fitness tasks.
• Handle member queries and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Outgoing, confident and positive mindset.
• Strong administrative competence.
• Driven, ambitious and eager to learn sales and customer‑service behaviours.
• Willing to perform key‑holder duties and work flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Target‑focused with a passion for fitness, sales and customer service.
