SAP BTP Architect (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Architect to lead the architecture and integration strategy for a large‑scale SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programme. The role is contract‑based, hybrid (mostly remote) and based in London.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern end‑to‑end SAP BTP architecture across SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Build solutions and integration platforms.
• Lead design of side‑by‑side extensions, in‑app extensions and Clean Core‑aligned solutions.
• Provide architectural direction for ABAP Cloud development, SAP Fiori, SAP Build Apps, OData services and API strategies.
• Design and oversee integrations between SAP systems, third‑party platforms and downstream enterprise applications using SAP Integration Suite and BTP services.
• Establish architectural standards, governance processes and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and security requirements.
• Support incident, change and enhancement management and collaborate with functional, technical, enterprise architects and integration partners.
• Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies and architecture reviews.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience as a SAP BTP, Solution or Cloud Architect.
• Strong background in large, multi‑vendor, enterprise programmes delivered in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
