Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join a leading organisation in the music industry, based in London with a hybrid working model (three days in the office). This senior leadership position will shape the finance function as it undergoes a major transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end financial operations, including month, quarter and year‑end close.
• Maintain balance‑sheet governance and manage cash and working capital.
• Prepare statutory and regulatory reports and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead a small finance team and act as deputy to the Finance Director.
• Present financial performance and strategic insights to Board and Executive committees.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including new systems and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven senior controllership experience in a complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and UK tax legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Credibility and confidence when interacting with Board‑level stakeholders.
