About the role

A well‑established engineering organisation is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to support its growing procurement function in the Bristol area. The role focuses on supplier management, cost reduction and strategic sourcing across key commodities.

Key responsibilities

Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance
Deliver cost‑saving and value‑engineering initiatives
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
Prepare RFQs and negotiate supplier agreements

Required profile

Experience in procurement or supply chain
Strong negotiation and supplier‑management capabilities
Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Good analytical and commercial awareness
Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders
