Systems Administrator

About the role

CTI is looking for a Systems Administrator to join its Hosting & Infrastructure team in Manchester. You will support both client‑facing platforms and internal systems, gaining hands‑on experience with cloud environments and 24/7 service operations from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical incidents, system alerts and client escalations in collaboration with the support team to minimise downtime.
• Assist with day‑to‑day management and optimisation of client cloud infrastructure, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Administer web‑hosting environments, including Linux servers and Plesk panels, ensuring stability, security and performance.
• Support platform security, perform routine maintenance and contribute to automation and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on attitude with willingness to roll up sleeves and troubleshoot live issues.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies in a fast‑paced environment.
• Readiness to contribute to a 24/7 service model and work closely with support and delivery teams.

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in managing Linux‑based servers.
• Knowledge of Plesk web‑hosting control panel.
