Tax Director

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Director to join our global tax team in London. Reporting to the Head of European Tax, you will act as the primary tax business partner for Touton entities across Europe, Africa, APAC and LATAM.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as day‑to‑day direct tax partner to Finance and trading teams, identifying tax risks and opportunities.
• Provide insights and alerts to General Management and the CFO on tax regulatory developments.
• Establish tax processes and controls to ensure timely compliance and reporting.
• Drive strategic tax risk management for subsidiaries, especially in Africa.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of global tax developments.
• Advise Heads of Finance on tax matters and coordinate with external advisers during investigations and audits.
• Ensure consistent application of Hartree tax positions across the Touton business and support the wider EMEA tax team on ad‑hoc projects.
• Liaise with Hartree tax teams in the US and Europe to uphold tax governance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 12 years of tax experience, preferably in a large consultancy or corporate environment.
