1:1 Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support to a primary‑school pupil in Farnborough. You will work closely with the class teacher to help a KS1 or KS2 student who needs extra assistance, starting in September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Support an individual pupil inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with classroom activities and preparation of resources.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs to develop emotionally and academically.
• Assist with organising and tidying the classroom when required.

Required profile

• Experience working with primary children (KS1–KS2).
• Caring, patient and adaptable approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for helping children learn and grow.
• Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles (training provided).
