Account Manager - Global

About the role

SHI International Corp., a global provider of IT solutions and services, is hiring an Account Manager in London. The role drives customer retention, growth and new business conversion by turning trading accounts into long-term clients. It involves keeping customers informed on sales and supply chain forecasts, expanding account value and deepening partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer relationships, ensuring engagement, satisfaction and retention
• Identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions; run business reviews and regular check-ins
• Work with internal teams to bring solutions forward and support initiatives that improve technology delivery
• Keep CRM and customer data up to date for account planning and growth
• Act as the main link between customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders
• Deliver high-quality customer service, including quotes and renewals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years in outside sales, inside sales management or pre-sales for large organisations
• 2-4 years in a Customer Success role preferred
• Ability to travel to SHI, partner and customer events
• Advanced sales EOM certification (e.g. Microsoft, Dell, HP, Cisco, AWS, Lenovo) preferred

• Intermediate: detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and revenue-generating professional services engagements
• Intermediate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Intermediate: coordinating multiple projects and using CRM software
• Intermediate: team selling and selling IT products and services globally

The estimated annual pay is £40,000 - £45,000 base salary plus bonus, depending on knowledge, skills, experience and location.
