Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounts and Audit Semi‑Senior to join our London office. The role offers a balanced mix of accounts preparation (≈70 %) and audit work (≈30 %), providing a solid technical foundation while you continue your ACA studies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for small‑ and medium‑sized enterprises, drafting disclosures and supporting schedules.
• Identify and resolve routine accounting issues to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Lead assigned audit sections, perform substantive testing and produce high‑quality working papers.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and respond to queries.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACA candidate with ongoing study commitment.
• Practical experience in both accounts preparation and audit work.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.
• Confident communicator able to liaise effectively with clients.
