Agriculture Administrator

About the role

The Agriculture Administrator supports the management of approximately 4 million laying hens each year. The role ensures accurate order processing, documentation, vaccine coordination and data records for both rearing and laying farms while maintaining compliance with regulatory and welfare standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer operational tasks for 4 million laying hens, including order processing and documentation.
• Maintain direct liaison with internal and external stakeholders to meet service standards.
• Coordinate vaccine administration and manage health & welfare plans for rearing and laying farms.
• Process purchase orders, raise invoices and manage payments.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare master information and present data for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with Lion Code of Practice, RSPCA Assured, DEFRA and other regulations; support audit readiness.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks for the Agriculture Senior Leadership Team and drive continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Required profile

• Experience in agricultural or livestock administration.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and welfare standards in poultry production.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
