Appointed Person – Lifting Industry Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Appointed Person to lead machinery‑removal projects within the lifting industry. The role is office‑based and involves developing risk assessments, creating detailed CAD plans and coordinating with blue‑chip clients across the UK. You will work with the latest lifting technology and have clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and review risk assessments for complex machinery‑removal projects.
• Use CAD software to generate accurate removal and installation plans.
• Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects on schedule.
• Provide technical input for continuous improvement and training initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Appointed Person with recognised certification in the lifting industry.
• Proven experience in machinery removal or related lifting projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in an office environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
